Every preview row has room for a description, a quantity and a price in dollars. Pieces billed at the same price can share a row, such as five website pages at your per-page fee, while a package priced as one, like an email sequence, is a quantity of 1. Put revision rounds beyond what the price included on a separate row.
If you type a tax percentage, it applies to the full subtotal. Look up your state's rules to see whether writing services are taxed there. Per-piece, per-project and hourly pricing, and deposits, are covered in the copywriter invoicing guide linked below.
Worked example, using the sample rows the preview opens with: five website pages at 5 × $300.00 = $1,500.00, a three-email sequence at 1 × $450.00, and one extra revision round at 1 × $120.00. The total is $1,500.00 + $450.00 + $120.00 = $2,070.00 when the tax box is left at 0. Put in your own fees.
