Rows in the generator are built from a label, a count and a price per unit. For courier work, one row can carry all the standard drops for a period: put the week or the client's account reference in the description, the number of deliveries in the quantity and your per-drop price in the rate. Rush jobs, waiting time and extra stops each need a separate row, which lets the client match every charge to a job.
Tax in the preview is one percentage, charged on the sum of all rows. Your state's tax office can tell you whether delivery charges are taxable.
Worked example, with sample figures: over a week, the courier completes 12 standard deliveries at $18.00, 12 × $18.00 = $216.00, plus 2 rush jobs at $35.00, 2 × $35.00 = $70.00, and bills 1 block of waiting time at $25.00, 1 × $25.00 = $25.00. The subtotal is $216.00 + $70.00 + $25.00 = $311.00 before tax.
