In the generator, a row is a description plus a quantity and a price. A DJ booking fits on a few rows: the performance itself as 1 at your package price, with the event date and the set length in the description, then anything the client added, such as a lighting package or travel to the venue.
There's one tax field, and it covers the whole subtotal. Confirm how your state treats a booking before filling it in.
Worked example, with sample figures: a wedding reception books a 5-hour set for 1 × $900.00 = $900.00, a lighting package for 1 × $150.00 = $150.00 and travel to the venue for 1 × $60.00 = $60.00. The subtotal is $900.00 + $150.00 + $60.00 = $1,110.00, with no tax entered.
