A row in the generator is a short label, a count, and the price for one. For dog walking, count the walks of each length over the billing period: one row for half-hour walks and another for hour-long walks, with the month and the dog's name in the description. If a second dog joins the same walks, add it as its own row at your extra-dog price.
The tax percentage, if you enter one, is charged on the full subtotal. Find out your state's rule on pet care before entering anything there.
Worked example, with sample figures: in April a client books 18 half-hour walks at $20.00, 18 × $20.00 = $360.00, and 6 hour-long walks at $30.00, 6 × $30.00 = $180.00. A second dog joins all 18 half-hour walks at $5.00, 18 × $5.00 = $90.00. The subtotal is $360.00 + $180.00 + $90.00 = $630.00 before tax.
