Each preview row wants the surface, how much of it you cleaned and a price per unit in dollars. A surface priced by area takes its square footage as Qty and your per-square-foot price as Rate. A surface priced as one job takes 1 and the job price. For every row, the preview puts quantity x rate into the subtotal.
Below the rows sits a single Tax % box that covers the entire subtotal. Before you put a rate there, an accountant or your state's rules can tell you whether one applies.
Worked example (sample figures): as loaded, the preview lists a one-story house wash at 1 x $325.00, a driveway at 900 sq ft x $0.18 = $162.00 and a deck soft wash at 1 x $140.00. With Tax % left empty, the total is $325.00 + $162.00 + $140.00 = $627.00. Measuring each surface and quoting it before the job are covered in the pressure washing invoicing guide.
