How do I bill deck sealing?

Put it in the Sealing table by the square foot. The sample seals the 320 sq ft deck at 0.75, 240.00, and the notes tell the customer to keep off the deck for the drying time on the sealer label.

Are there rules on cleaning products, runoff or licensing?

Measuring surfaces and sealing

Measure each surface and enter its area in square feet, then your rate for that surface. The sample's notes say "Sample terms: each surface is priced per square foot, measured on site before washing." Put how you cleaned it in Details, such as a soft wash or low pressure, so the customer can see why the rates differ.

Bill sealing, staining or other treatments in the Sealing table by the square foot. The notes also hold a reminder for the customer, "Keep foot traffic off the sealed deck for [drying time on the sealer label]"; fill in the time from the product you used.

Whether pressure washing is taxable depends on where you work, so check the rules there before you set a rate. In the Word file the tax line shows its rate in the label ("(0%)"), so update it if you change the rate. In Word or on the PDF, work out the amounts yourself.
