Rows have a label, a count and a dollar price. Enter labor as hours in Qty with your hourly charge as Rate; a materials bill or a haul-away charge works as 1 at the amount. The subtotal adds quantity x rate from every row.
The preview has one Tax % box, applied to everything above it, so it can't tax materials apart from labor. Check your state's and city's rules, or ask an accountant, about tax on a roofing job. It also has no deposit or balance line; taking a materials deposit is covered in the roofer invoicing guide.
Worked example (sample figures): before you edit anything, the rows show 6 labor hours x $85.00 = $510.00, shingles and underlayment at 1 x $640.00 and debris haul-away at 1 x $315.00. With no tax rate, that's $510.00 + $640.00 + $315.00 = $1,465.00.
